I grew up in the shadow of the royal palace to a tanner mother named Merlyth and a drunk guardsman father named oscar. Life wasn't easy for us but we made do father taught me what little he knew of the sword but i wasn't gonna waste my life breaking up drunken merchants in the sapphire exchange never seeing the rest of the world so i decided to become a adventurer see the world and get paid to do sounded like a dream.I told my mother and father im off to see the world my mother was worried and told me to stay said adventurers end up in a monsters belly but i told her that im not gonna spend my life in the shadow of uldah i wanted to see the world and have my own stories to tell.Unfortunatly i ran out of what little coin i had to begin with and out of desperation i took a caravan guard contract and found that i had a talent for scarring thieves preventing drunken merchants from stabbing one another. one job led to two jobs and so on and so on.One day i awoke to realise that i was a caravan guard and for all my dreams of adventure i realised i was happy enough and luckier than most i found friends among the frequent trips to the silver bazarr and pride in that not one of my wards has been so much as touched.Thus i say i Albert Porter caravan guard and proud child of Ul'dah welcome and wellmet
